Bill’s coaching is unique, offering mentoring based upon the best practices being pioneered by his national network of businesses and entrepreneurs who are succeeding at growing green revenues. Bill helps companies in the area of marketing, greenwashing issues, pricing strategies and green teams. Bill’s leadership roles have included serving as Senior Vice President Energy Services for PG&E, COO of Texaco Ovonics Hydrogen Solutions and President of Cleantech America.

Milestone projects developed under Bill’s leadership include the launch of the first hydrogen fueled Prius, development of solar power plants and the launch of the first web-based, meter-linked energy information system that enables energy conservation and reduced costs by harvesting load shifting through Real Time Pricing.

Lori Cheung, President of Cheung Environmental


Cheung Environmental Consulting provides project management, environmental analysis, and editing. Lori is passionate about our environment and committed to sustainability. She is proud to be an Advisor to Earth 2017.

Lori has 23 years of professional experience managing projects pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Federal Endangered Species Act, and other environmental laws. She also led teams for ecosystem management and restoration projects. Lori volunteers and envisions projects that provide clean water to rural areas and villages. CEC is a Caltrans-certified Minority/Women-owned Business Enterprise. Lori earned her B.A. in Environmental Sciences at the University of California, Berkeley with an emphasis in Biology.

Lori is also a pro photographer (thePetPhotographer.com). Her work has been featured in Oprah Magazine and aired on Animal Planet.

Mike Olson


Dr. Michael Olson is a leader in linking strategies that reflect sustainability as a business driver and an enterprise’s performance management systems, most especially the CFO’s spreadsheets.

During his career Mike has developed high altitude meteorological data collection platforms at the National Center for Atmospheric Research for climate modeling, developed spread spectrum communications for satellite data networks at Equatorial Communications and for Vodafone analyzed trends in society, regulatory policy, technology change, and human factors that influenced mobile communication evolution.

Dr. Olson earned his PhD in electrical engineering from Stanford University and a degree in sustainability management at the Presidio School of Management.

Mike Paunovich

Mike Paunovich is an expert on the use of new media that engage on issues tied to sustainability. He provides web services and graphic design for the Earth 2017 team.

Mike is a videographer and web developer with 10 years of experience working with Bay Area businesses large and small. He graduated from the Conceptual/Information Arts program at San Francisco State University, with a focus on the intersection of art and technology. Mike is a board member of the Sustainable Business Alliance. He also co-developed LocalBizBlogs.com: a web marketing platform for local small businesses.
