Go to http://www.edf.org/page.cfm?tagID=33427. This site has maps like you see on home real estate websites that pinpoint by state where the green jobs are located. Very cool!
For example, who would have thought that Georgia would have green companies located from its northern border in the city of Ringgold to its southern towns like Blakely or Valdosta. And Atlanta is so covered up with pinpoints you can’t see the city on the map!
This site profiles 21 states from New York to California and from Michigan to Florida. It is the most visual evidence I have seen on the breadth and deep of commerce that is building up across the United States. At this time of economic stress this map paints a picture on the potential a sustainable economy holds for restoring jobs and our environment.
